Green Tip #14: Paperless Time Management

Plastic Day CalendarRight now I have a lot on the go and need to keep it all organized. Although I am a fan of post-its I am trying to reduce my usage of them because they can’t be recycled dues to the glue on them.  So a couple of weeks ago I went out and bought an erasable calendar along with markers and a dry eraser.  I wrote down all my chores (even colour coded them) and at the end of the month I will erase it away and start afresh for the new month, without paper. The calendar, markers and eraser cost me about $20 and I estimate they will last me several years, so that works out to be a big savings from using  sticky notes.
