Tea tree oil is one of my new best friends. Not only is it natural and eco-friendly but it is also anti-fungal and antiseptic making it perfect for a wide variety of applications. Here are few ways you can use tea tree oil around your home:
- Freshen your breath. Put a couple drops of it in a glass of water and swish it in your mouth.
- Disinfect and heal a wound. If you are prone to scrapes and cuts or you have little kids that are constantly coming home with injuries, put a few drops of tea tree oil on the wound. You will be healed in no time and infection free.
- Remove mustiness. If you have ever had to store furniture or haven’t used a drawer or closet in a long time, then you will know what mustiness smells like and it doesn’t smell good right. Anything you have been storing in or next to these items will also smell musty. To freshen things up, fill a spray bottle with water and add 5 drops of tea tree oil and spray lightly. In a couple days everything will smell like new again.
- Treat acne. My husband has always had to battle acne and all of those chemical products he would by from the store never really fixed the problem. He has only had clear skin since he started using tea tree oil. Just rub a few dabs on your face with a cotton swab every night after cleansing and your acne will clear up in no time.
I have only listed a few ways you can use this miracle oil; trust me there are plenty more. If you would like to try it out, just head to your local grocery store. You can buy it in the pharmacy section.
Great applications, very cool!
Yes, it is so cool. These are just a few ways to use it; it actually works for numerous things around the house. Best part is you don’t have to use a lot, just a few drops to get the job done.
