When you are cooking something that can fit in your toaster oven you can save electrical power by using the toaster oven instead of heating the much larger stove. We have a convection toaster oven my Mom gave me years ago and cooking for two can often be accomplished in this handy energy saver. Another neat feature is that the oven is designed in such a way we can cook pizza in the toaster oven as well.

I agree, I agree, and I totally agree. I love my toaster oven. I’ve had one forever and cook/ bake everything in ours; toast, waffles, baked potatoes, horsdoerves, etc. great tip!
We should likely use ours even more than we do. Some items won’t work (like a roast or a chicken) but many do. I also love to BBQ, weather permitting.
