Green Tip #7: Magazines on Loan

magazinesI love reading before bed, wrapping myself in a blanket on a cold winter night with a good book or magazine. I used to get magazine subscriptions which was fun, getting a package in the mail every month. But then I realized that after reading all the stories and trying out the recipes, the magazines had little value left and either got recycled or given to friends or family still all that paper and ink was kind of a waste I thought.

Then I discovered that my local library loans out magazines and we’reĀ  not talking issues from 20 years ago, more like 2 days ago! I can take them out for 3 weeks, read all the stories, try the recipes and then bring them back for someone else to enjoy. And I didn’t have to pay a cent!
